What is Qigong ?
Qigong is a way of exercising the human body that comes from ancient China that is becoming quite popular in modern times. This popularity comes from the results that people are getting after just a small amount of practice. In contrast to western methods that use contraction and strain, Qigong uses relaxation, fluidity, and a mindful approach to movement.
What are Energy Gates and Why should I learn to Open them?
The energy gate system of your body is a lesser known template of how energy or chi or vital life force moves through your body. To use a modern metaphor they can be likened to the local neighborhood transformer that supply power to a multitude of structures in the local areas. They serve as another map that can be used to understand health and can be used to help others release blockages and improve functioning of whatever areas needs special attention
In this course you will learn to recognize what an energy gate is and how to locate them. From here you will learn various methods of releasing and balancing the flows that go through these gates in your own body. From here you will learn various exercises that will increase and improve these flows for improved health and vitality.
These skills once learned and practiced can form the foundation for a deeper understanding or use in any other system such as tai chi chi gung yoga or any mind body practice you currently have. IT is my hope that the more people can release what is bound inside of them the better we can make the world we live in a better place.

Cloud Hands
Cloud hands is often considered the jewel in this set as it can give you up to 80% of the benefits of practicing a full tai chi form. The other valuable aspect is how versatile this exercise can be. From building more energy to improving circulation in any of your fluid systems including lymph and blood to working out a particular area of concern like an injury or health concern, this one simple weight shift arm turning exercise can help reduce tension and build strength and improve functioning in almost every case.
The Taoist Spine Stretch
Most western methods of working with the spine start from the top and work downward and work one side then the other. With this unique exercise you will learn how to open both the front and back aspects of your torso and spine creating the maximum space for healing to occur or to maintain vibrant health. It is the perfect way to complete any chi gung or internal art practice.
